Our schedule of classes includes a little something for everyone. From never stepping on a yoga mat to being an instructor-in-training, to loving the powerful flow and feeling the fitness burn, Yoga Pod has a class to suit your needs. Most of our classes are one hour, but we have some filtered into our schedule that give students some additional time on the mat or in an express format when demanded. Beginners can start in podBASICS (less challenging), podFLOW 1, or podFIT and podHOT.
podBASICS
Build a safe and sustainable yoga practice by learning how to use props and safe alignment to twist, forward fold, open your hips, and back bend with ease. Beginners can set a solid foundation and seasoned practitioners can refine their practice. podBASICS will allow you to move into podFLOW 1 and podFLOW 2 classes when you feel ready for your the next steps on your yoga journey.
podFLOW 1
Embody the true spirit of breath-synchronized movement set to music in podFLOW 1. Begin with warm up through Sun Salutations and progress through sequences that build strength and flexibility. All classes focus on proper alignment and safety, with added challenges from our podBASICS series. Classes are set to 85 degrees and no added humidity.
podFLOW 2
podFLOW 2 classes are dynamic and accessible, set to music, and offer more challenging postures, physicality, and variations. Teachers bring their own creative elements for diverse and inspiring classes. Expect intelligent sequencing progressions, a detoxifying sweat, a physically challenging practice, and an opportunity to melt away the stress from your day. podFLOW 2 classes are your home for amazing heated power vinyasa set to 95 degrees with 40% humidity
Pod Flow 3 (Heated)
Our podFLOW 3 (Heated) classes are a fast paced dynamic set of postures and sequences set to upbeat music. The podFLOW 3 style incorporates challenging arm balances and inversions to build upon previous fundamentals of podFLOW 2 classes.
Teachers bring their own creative element to podFLOW 3, resulting in diverse and inspiring classes. Due to faster pace of this advanced class, previous fundamental skills and knowledge are needed by regular attendance of podFLOW 2 classes.
The podFLOW 3 (Heated) classes are designed to encourage sweat and detoxification, as well as reduce stress.The room temperature is set at 95 degrees with 40% humidity.
podBARRE
This class is a good complement to traditional yoga practice that focuses on core stability and embodied confidence. The class is set with high-energy music as students move through a targeted sequence that lengthens, sculpts, and creates lean muscles.
